4ÈME ÉDITION DES FRUITS OUBLIÉS EN FÊTE
We hope to see lots of you at the 4th edition of ‘Les Fruits Oubliés’ in Rieux-Volvestre!
Organised by the Bons Matins and Faims d’Aprèm associations.
Join us on Sunday 13 September from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm on the Promenade du Préau in the heart of the village of Rieux-Volvestre.
“Fruits Oubliés” is a major festival celebrating botany and the local heritage of days gone by. Its theme is heritage fruit varieties and orchards of yesteryear (quinces, medlars, physalis, persimmons, arbutus berries, elderberries, heritage apples and pears, plums and sloes, wild strawberries, wild blackberries, etc.).
PROGRAMME
All day:
Local produce market, trees & plants
Nature zone: exhibitions – sales, talks, workshops, walks
Gastronomy zone: cooking demonstrations and workshops, ‘My Dessert from Yesteryear’ recipe competition
Children’s area: exhibitions, games, storytelling, snack workshops, giant dessert.

- Producers
- Local craftspeople.
