New exhibition of paintings by Caroline Colomina at the Rieux-Volvestre Municipal Gallery: ‘Balade picturale’.

The Rieux-Volvestre Municipal Gallery is hosting a new exhibition of paintings by Caroline Colomina this autumn. Through a ‘pictorial journey’, the artist takes us into her abstract and colourful world.

Introduction to the exhibition and the artist:
‘Time passes… Caroline Colomina, a self-taught painter who emerged onto the scene 15 years ago, is a creative and authentic artist. Following a sudden and irreversible emotional upheaval, creativity became an essential outlet for her.
Riopelle and Jackson Pollock kindled the fire of passion and creativity within her.
Caroline Colomina initially worked in oils, but it was acrylic that became her medium of choice, primarily for abstract art.
Giving free rein to her imagination and the emotions within her, she brings movement and colour to life with knives, brushes and a mixed technique, transforming her canvas into a unique creation.
Nothing is planned in advance; the creation of a new painting is a reflection of her subconscious brought to life.
Drawing inspiration from no particular painter and remaining true to herself, it is a real pleasure to share her entire body of work with everyone and to enhance your interiors.”

This exhibition runs from 1 September to 10 October 2026:
– In September: Tuesday to Saturday from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm and from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm – Sundays from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm
– From 1 to 10 October from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm and on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm
