🔎 Some funny animals have ventured into Volvestre : 2 ducks, 3 giraffes, and 1 elephant ! During their journey, they got lost among our 32 towns. They need help to be reunited again.
⛵ These figurines have made a long journey before arriving in Volvestre. Shaped by the famous glassblowers of the island of Murano, in Italy, these precious animals are patiently waiting to be found.
🧭 Embark on the adventure by downloading the Geocaching app. This free app will guide you to the cache’s GPS point with a clue. Each village in Volvestre hides a cache. Among all our municipalities, 6 currently welcome our funny animals. Be the first to find them to recover these treasures!
Like a treasure hunt
🗝️ To help you in your adventure and find the towns that shelter them, follow these valuable clues :
- The elephant, a rugby fan, went to see the largest collection of rugby jerseys in Europe.
- The little duckling went to see his cousins the cattle egrets who live on an island in the middle of a small lake.
- The big duck wanted to sail down the Garonne to reach the sea ! He found boats moored on a reservoir near a dam. From there, he had a magnificent view of the Pyrenees.
- One of the giraffes, greedy, visited the busiest market in Volvestre to find exotic fruits. She then went to the nearby castle.
- The little giraffe, with a neck smaller than her sisters’, went to see one of the three orientation tables to see the surrounding landscapes as well as they did.
- Finally, the last giraffe went to a fortified church overlooking the Volp valley where the gate tower is large enough for her to climb through.
